ABCON Guarantee Conditons

We ABCON undertake to that if within 12 months of the date of purchase (or on selected products up to 60 months, if the purchase is registered within the stated period after purchase) the ABCON product or any part thereof is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, we or our authorised reseller or distributor will at our discretion repair or replace with the same or nearest alternative model FREE OF ANY CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage, on condition that:

-  The product has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity or gas supply stated on the rating plate.

-  The product has been used for normal product specific purposes only, and in accordance with the manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions.

-  The product has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person not authorised by us.

-  All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by ABCON Customer Service or its authorised agents.

-  Any product or defective part replaced shall become the Company's property.

-  This guarantee is in addition to your statutory and other legal rights.

Service visits are made between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday - Friday.

Guarantee Exclusions

Damage resulting from transportation, improper use or neglect, the replacement of any batteries, light bulbs or removable parts of glass and plastic.

-  Costs incurred for vists to put right a product, which is improperly installed, used or has inadequate batteries or battery installation.

-  Costs incurred to visit products outside the United Kingdom, or the Republic of Ireland, unless a visit agreement is in place with an authorised reseller or distributor in that country.

-  Products of ABCON manufacture which are not marketed by ABCON, products not purchased directly from ABCON or an authorised retailer or sales channel, or grey imports.

-  EC Countries - the standard guarantee is applicable but is subject to the owner's responsibility and cost, to ensure the product meets the standards set by the country to which the product is taken.

Proof of purchase may be required.
